Olsen Light Questions

  • Hi there, I have a few olsen light questions.

    1) What Css code will make my navigation menu words bigger

    2) What code would allow me to choose a different color for the social media icons

    3) I am having so much trouble trying to get an instagram carasoul plugin to do what this site is doing on the bottom of each page-ourdarlingchaos.com

    4)I have created categories that show in my menu bar. How do I customize the way that post look when they are put into that category?

    I have figured out #1 and #2 except at the very top of my site above the logo I can’t figure out how to change that one.

    Also still haven’t solved #3-4.

    Try this
    .top-bar .navigation > li > a{color:red}
    in your custom CSS box under Customize-?Additional CSS for the top bar menu
    This is a plugin https://www.www.ads-software.com/plugins/instagram-feed/ you could use, I dont know if they offer a carousel in their free plugin though.
    How you need to customize them? You need to have different listing options / colors for each category? Can you explain a bit more?

    Thanks for the response! I appreciate the help. I am getting closer to where I want to be there are still 2 things I can’t seem to figure out.

    Hi there,
    You will need a third party plugin to load share icons (along with mail and print). You can check any from www.ads-software.com plugin repository.
    Also you will need to contact the Instagram Feed plugin developers (check my previous answer) so you can create custom grids like that.

    Thanks, I have checked the plugins. I just can’t seem to find one that looks the way I am hoping, same with the instagram feed plugin. I have tried several.

    What I am trying to do now is put grids on my category pages and blog page. I have tried a few plugins for that too, but I am not having luck getting a plugin that gives me the look I am going for. I am trying to get it like this https://helloivoryrose.com/category/travel/. Where there is one big post at the top and then two columns of posts below with the social sharing buttons right there on the post view. It is the perfect setup. I have tried inspecting the page to see what was used, but I guess I am still too new at this to figure it out. Can you help with this? Thank you!
