Omit “IQAMAH CHANGES” scroll message

Please check the language settings tab. For digital screen you can also use the shortcode to omit that.

Sorry, I’m struggling to understand what shortcode I need to add to omit “ IQAMAH CHANGES (Prayer XX:XX)” message from digital screen – please could you advise of the specific code brother?

I too am unable to override the digital screen scroll “IQAMAH CHANGES” in horizontal mode. I know it works in vertical mode but isn’t it supposed to work in horizontal mode as well?

Here is the shortcode that I’m using – [digital_screen dim=15 scroll=” disable_overnight_dim=true] at isoc.ca/ds

It seems basic, but I must be missing something but I don’t know what.

sorry it’s my bad, I was thinking of the scroll messages. The iqama changes option is set by default now. On a previous version scroll=” would override it.

Is it really very important?

Thanks for the prompt response. I’ve used the scroll to display important messages for our congregants. I’m not sure if it’s important to anyone else but I would like to be able to continue overriding it to display important and timely messages.

Dear brother Mustafiz,

I refer to the above request to ‘omit’ or ‘override’ (as in earlier versions) the Iqamah changes.

In the current version, Scroll message area has 2 important functions/messages to display.
1-st one is to display Free text, which we want communicate to our masjid community (donations, medical camp etc.,)
2-nd part is Iqamah changes, will be displayed only when change(s) in prayer-time(s) for next day.

As I mentioned earlier in my mail dated 05-Nov-2011 to you, this feature is one of the important and good for every masjid and I believe most of you will agree to this point.

My sincere advice is to keep the above functions as it is. Please do NOT change anything.

Instead, You may kindly, provide an option (check-button) to either ‘display’ or ‘not to display’ Iqamah changes. In this way, all of our requirements are addressed.

I was also thinking of exactly the same options. I am in Dhaka now and should return to the UK on the 11th insha’Allah, then I will address all the issues iA.

Please make dua for my mother and my family, she is 71 years old, fell down and broke her shoulder yesterday. and my return is next Friday.
