• I would like to suggest two things, the first very simple, but very helpful: Make the default tab at ‘Add gallery / Upload images’ be Images, not New Gallery.

Especially in a case such as mine, where I have many artists uploading images to their own galleries, it can easily confuse those users. As in a recent case, where an artist tried to create a new gallery each time, instead of adding an image. Now, you may say he was not paying attention, and you could be right, however, the change would be good. Besides, don’t people upload images much more often than create new galleries? Therefore, it should be the default option.

Secondly, as administrators, we need the flexibility to be able to give users the right to upload images only, separately from also being able to create galleries.

Thank you, and I hope the plugin authors will consider my suggestions.

    Hi jamminjames,
your first suggestion make sense. We’ll see to implement it.

About the second suggestion, there is a Role page, where you can restrict the access to different Nextcellent options.

Maybe is what you’re looking for (?).

    Okay, great, thanks!

As for the Role page, it only allows for assigning access to ‘Add gallery/Upload images’ together. I think it’s important to separate those, as we, and I’m sure many others, need to be able to let people edit their own gallery, but not be able to create more galleries.

Agree with jamminjames on both suggestions!
    Would really appreciate implementation.
