Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /[server dirs]/htdocs/huntleymotorworld/wp-content/plugins/blog2social/includes/Meta.php on line 24

Every time someone enters a search string for which there is no corresponding search result post, this message is at the top of the page above the header.

There is another topic here for this exact issue that is marked as ‘solved’ but it is a problem on my site.
My site has a search bar. Every time I type in something that does not exist, this notice pops up at the top, above the header.
I had to disable the plugin because it looks unprofessional, as though the website were broken.
Since I cannot create posts for every imaginable search string a user might enter, is there another way to get rid of this error message?

    Thanks for the help!

    Hello @scmf,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We just released a new update.

Please uninstall Blog2Social and re-install it. To do this, click on “Plugins” in your WordPress backend and deactivate Blog2Social. Please do NOT check the box saying ?Delete scheduled posts“, otherwise your planning will be deleted. Deactivate and then delete the plugin.
Then click on ?Plugins“ -> ?Add new“ and type in “Blog2Social“ in the search bar on the right. Click ?Install now“ to install the latest version of Blog2Social.

Please make sure to uninstall it first, as updating alone might not fix this.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions about this.
    Thanks!
