Processing emails and completed emails are sending as expected, but no “on-hold” emails are sending, despite the woocommerce-settings-email on hold being enabled… What could be the problem?

    Hi there,

Have you checked that any of your orders have actually triggered the “On Hold” status? Also bear in mind that these emails are intended for the customer, not the admin.

Finally, it might also be worthwhile installing https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/email-log/ – this will allow you to see a log of all the emails being triggered by WooCommerce without relying on them showing up in an inbox (Seeing as these emails might end up in spam or be blocked by the email hosting provider).

Apparently Woocommerce does not send emails if you manually change status to ON-HOLD, but if you manually change status to processing or completed it does. This was my problem. I have action hooked manually changing it on hold to auto send emails. Problem resolved.

Hi , how did you do to action hooked manually changing it on hold to auto send emails.
