On iPad, letter cannot be entered in first box for the world

Thank you for taking the time to read this post! We love your plugin! However, we are running into one small technical issue that we are hoping you can help us with. When we tested the crossword on two different iPads, the letters seem to jump to the second box. We can’t get a letter for any of the words to stay in the first box. This problem is only occurring on iPads, not on phone or desktop. Do you have any suggestions for how we can fix this?
