on mobile, treat hover as a double tap

  • I’m creating a site that on homepage uses large icons that, on hover, shows addtional informations.

    I’d like to show those infos on mobile devices to. so I’d like to “transform” hover on double tap for smaller devices.
    I’ve read that double tap in most cases is treathed as an “issue” but for my goals in that site is the best solution.

    How can I obtain it?
