On new page load, clicking on a product then back it scrolls to the bottom

  • Hi!

    I’m having a small issue with infinity scroll. When I scroll to the bottom of the page and a new page loads, clicking on a product, then clicking back, it autmatically scrolls to the bottom of the new page.

    This only happens the first time after the new page has loaded. If I click on another product on the same page, without a new page loading it stays on the exact spot.

    If I click show previous product on top and the previous products show this doesn’t happen, so only on “next page” load.

    Hi,

    “clicking back, it autmatically scrolls to the bottom of the new page” – this is browser’s functionality. We don’t have control over it.

    I’m really sorry for bothering you, but I do have one more question. Just checked my previous site https://kulwear.com/, when after loading a new page and clicking on a product on page 2, then clicking back it scrolls down to the position where the product I clicked is located and not all the way to the bottom of the page.

    Hi @jojo5,

    Browser scrolls to the position where it was, but
    1. Open first page and load second and click product on second page, when you go back it will scroll page to the bottom, because page do not have first page and have only second page
    2. after that click same product, go back and now it is not scrolled down because you do not have first page previously.
