On pages with contact form, the whole page moves sideways in *nix

    On pages with a contact form, the whole page is moved to the left about .5 cm. This happens only in *nix (tested on macos x safari and ubuntu with fx 3.*)

    I am running twenty ten weaver and have two sidebars (left + right).

    I have a facebook box on the right side (primary) and nothing on the left side (which creates a search field)

    The same exact thing happens with both fast secure forms and cforms II.
    I havent really edited the themesize′s except for header height and some space above the header.

    “Hem” and “Kontakta oss” are the same but it jumps on “Kurser” (which is where I have a form atm. It jumps on windows also, but it jumps back. On linux it never jumps back to the oringinal position.

    it seems that the page with the contact form is longer than the nearly empty other pages – and so triggers the vertical scrollbar on the right of the browser window.

    to avoid this, you could add
    body { overflow-y: scroll; }
    to style.css of the theme.

    Btw, what happens to that css file when there is an update for wordpress coming out and I choose to autoupdate? I usually change those files directly on the server instead of through wp, would there be a difference?

    Thanks! Can you link to the other post? I thought I′d write something up to make it easier for people to find this stuff through the searchengines. Particularly when it comes to a solution when your wordpress page goes to the side.
