  • Hi Maria,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    “Override theme typography” means that the PostX plugin can apply its own typography settings (such as font type, size, and style) to your content, bypassing the default typography of your theme. If this option is enabled, the text in your posts or blocks will follow PostX’s typography settings instead of those defined by your theme. This can impact the overall look of your site’s text and should be used if you prefer PostX’s design options over your theme’s default typography.

    Yes, we’ve updated the plugin regarding this. Kindly after disabling the Google front, click the regenerate the files. [ Screenshot]

    Let me know if this helps.

    Hi Owadud,

    thank you for your quick response and verifying my thoughts about the overriding stuff.

    Unfortunately, also the updated version loads the Roboto font into my website: Here’s the line of the Firefox Developer Debug Mode:

    <style id='ultp-preset-typo-style-inline-css'>
    @import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:100,100i,300,300i,400,400i,500,500i,700,700i,900,900i'); @import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=none:'); :root { --postx_preset_Heading_typo_font_family: Roboto; --postx_preset_Heading_typo_font_family_type: sans-serif; --postx_preset_Heading_typo_font_weight: 600; --postx_preset_Heading_typo_text_transform: capitalize; --postx_preset_Body_and_Others_typo_font_family: none; --postx_preset_Body_and_Others_typo_font_family_type: None; --postx_preset_Body_and_Others_typo_font_weight: 100; --postx_preset_Body_and_Others_typo_text_transform: lowercase; --postx_preset_body_typo_font_size_lg: 16px; --postx_preset_paragraph_1_typo_font_size_lg: 12px; --postx_preset_paragraph_2_typo_font_size_lg: 12px; --postx_preset_paragraph_3_typo_font_size_lg: 12px; --postx_preset_heading_h1_typo_font_size_lg: 42px; --postx_preset_heading_h2_typo_font_size_lg: 36px; --postx_preset_heading_h3_typo_font_size_lg: 30px; --postx_preset_heading_h4_typo_font_size_lg: 24px; --postx_preset_heading_h5_typo_font_size_lg: 20px; --postx_preset_heading_h6_typo_font_size_lg: 16px; }
    </style>

    Did I miss something?

    Greetings,
    Maria

    Hi Maria,

    Kindly follow the below steps.

    1. Click our Global settings of PostX, select a font like Arial for the typography, and don’t forget to save it from the Global Save option.
    Reference:?Image1

    2. Disable Google font from the PostX settings . Click on regenerate css >Save Settings .?Image?for reference.

    Hopefully, it will resolve the issue.

    Hi Owadud,

    thank you for your effort.
    Unfortunately, as displayed in your screenshot, the dialog window where I can set e.g. Arial, was not displayed. I also don’t want to override my theme typography.
    So, at the end, issue unsolved, but I am closing this thread for now, as the WordPress taxonomy is sufficient for me and I don’t really need the plugin urgently.

    Greetings, Maria
