Once the Service Worker started … here’s how to stop it

    Hi,
    After activating the plugin, it does its job very well. In particular, when you connect to your website, the Service workers takes over. But if you deactivate the plugin or uninstall it, then it will no longer be possible to view updates on the client side, even after clearing the cache, clearing the history and restarting your browser. To fix this, you have to open DevTool in Chrome, click on the Applications tab and there you will see Service workers: click on the Unregister button which is to the right of the site’s domain name.

    The team should be inspired by what is done with the Super PWA plugin, everything is clean after deactivating it

    Hi,
    As I had replaced your plugin, I redid an installation to try to provide you with more precise elements and thus help you solve my problem. But apparently I am no longer able to reproduce it. This means that my previous installation must have failed. So that’s great, because your plugin is very user-friendly and adds all the meta tags to work properly with iPhones. In fact, as I stated before, it just lacks the option to choose the style for the iPhone’s status bar, which corresponds to the “apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style” meta tag. Personally, I had to modify the content of the “apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style” meta tag in the apple_icons_support() function of the service-work/class-service-worker.php file: I replaced content=”default” with content=”black-translucent”.
    And I’m sorry to have misled you with an issue that ultimately doesn’t exist.

    In regards to “choose the style for the iPhone’s status bar” We already have a GitHub ticket regarding this feature and it will be added in upcoming plugin updates.
