One Amazon ad appears, another doesn’t

    I’m having an odd problem in that not all of my Amazon Associate products are appearing in the right side of the page after I copy the code from Amazon Associates and paste it into the one of the “Ad: HTML/Javascript” widgets. A blank Amazon box appears, but not the product itself. But the most recent code I paste in appears as it should.

    I’ve also tried to create separate ad widgets for each Amazon product, but the same thing occurs: The most recent ad code appears correctly, but any code before that does not.

    I’ve used Amazon Associate ads on the site over the years, and this is the first time I’ve encountered this issue.

    I’ve checked the code, and it looks OK. Is this simply an Amazon ad server issue or something else?

  • Have you updated to 4.9.3 yet? I had the same problem with Project Wonderful ads; it started the same time as the last update. Earlier today I updated, and so far my ads are showing properly again. (crossing my fingers!)

    Yes, it’s been updated to 4.9.3. Still the same problem tonight.

    I used a workaround. I used a different Amazon ad that works. But it looks like there are bugs in WordPress with Amazon’s text-and-image Javascript ads.
