• I have a number of blogs, most I built myself but one I created at a service called WordPress Direct and then moved to my own control (as im a control freak :p).

All of the blogs i made myself have the option when a new version of a plugin is issued “upgrade automatically” and the one i made at wpdirect doesn’t

I tried recreating a new blog from scratch, and copied all the database files over from the old one, but it’s still the same, so i guess it must be a setting – but where is it and how do i change it????

  • Don’t know of such a setting.

    Who is the host?

What kind (and version) of operating system and web-server is the host using?

It’s the same host (and the same server on that host) as i am using for all the other blogs.

    Apache version 2.2.9 (Unix)
    PHP version 5.2.6
    MySQL version 5.0.51a-community-log
    Architecture x86_64
    Operating system Linux (version unspecified)

I’m having the same problem, I really wish someone knew what the deal was here. I’ve decided to not create blogs using WPDirect again because of this. It’s not about being a control freak, it’s about having choices with open source software.

Does anyone have any insight about this?
