I’m not sure I’m posting in the right forum, but here goes.

I am launching my website in a few days. It’s a blog and nothing more. I only want one blog post (the most recent one) to display on the front page, and successive pages also will only contain one post.

    I am also removing comments.

Without comments there isn’t a need for the entry titles to be links, right? So really I could just make my entire blog an archive blog with Single pages, including the home page. That way people can just copy the URL at the top to use as a link to each posts.

The problem is, the site description gets replaced by the blog post title on Single pages. And the site description helps SEO and comes up in Google.

So I’m wondering if maybe I should keep the loop and entry title links?

    Any thoughts on this? Thanks!
