One button, two courses

  • Hi there!

    First of all… What an amazing plugin this is! Kudos to you, Zack and Paul!

    Now.. is it possible to assign a button to be part of TWO courses?

    The thing is that we have hundreds of lessons, and some of them are in two categories (for instance, Marketing and Case Studies).

    We would like those buttons to be in BOTH courses. So if the user marks the button as “completed”, he can see it as completed in both lesson lists.

    This isn’t currently available but it’s definitely on the roadmap. Most likely with version 2.9.1.

    So great to hear! This is my number one feature request too.

    I asked about this in January of 2018 and was told I was the first person who requested it and maybe if you received requests from others asking for it you would then consider it. Looks like I might finally get my wish! Wahoo! ??

    Yeah, we’ve had a couple people ask about this. Was hoping to get it into the 2.9 version we are about to release, but it got pushed to the next one due to the complexity.

    That would be awesome, it’s just what we need. As soon as it’s out there, please let me know, I’ll get the premium one.

    Do you know when, approximately? Are we talking about days, weeks, months?

    @boluda We are releasing 2.9 in the next day or two (just finishing up some documentation and testing). The next version will probably be a couple weeks after that, but I’m not sure exactly until I get into the development of it. Hoping sometime at the end of June / early July.

    Knowing that, we’ll prepare everything (it’s going to take several days to create all the courses, web have hundreds of lessons), and as soon as you release it we’ll modify the lessons that belong to several courses.

    I just checked out 2.9, the Zapier integration is awesome, kudos to you ??

    Can’t wait for next release, being able to assign the same button for multiple courses.

    @boluda Not yet. We have some bug fixes coming out soon probably, but still working on the next proper feature release that’ll include this. Appreciate your patience.
