one click backup fails

    hi there,
    when hitting the button for the one-click-backup of my website’s database, a black screen (probably the same like a white screen) opens. to narrow down the problem i set debug to true in wp-config.php and repeated the procedure. now, with config set to true the backup works! setting debug mode back to false, the backup returns to be not working.
    can you help me to solve this problem?

    Did you try creating a new job from the BackWPUp -> Jobs section? is this work?
    Also could you please give me the server info in BackWpup -> Settings -> information?

    thanks for your reply. as mentioned, backing up with a job works all right. only the one-click-backup won’t start.
