  • In most cases the user doesn’t even know what machine readable means. If you ask, majority will not want their content invisible by search engines… and the majority of the ones that do want their content invisible are aware and are doing it on purpose. ??

Well, that will be up to Trinidadhunni to decide.

His important “content” could very well be on the static HTML part of the page — such as a company description and permanent keywords in the meta section of the header or displayed on the page via HTML — while the blog area could be merely news updates or asides that aren’t necessary to index in search engines.

Some sites are designed for their existing readership — members of your club, your family, employees, who knows — any demographic of readers besides the random millions who Google.

It is up to the user whether Search Engine Optimization is a priority or not.

Hmm well. You two seemed to have an indept conversation here lol.
I did the cutting away at the header/footer idea. It worked for me, after a long working process.
But I was reading about you saying something about the search engine. And yeah I don’t think it reconginizes my website. I mean it usually says *Name Website* and the description but it has something else said something about it cannot be viewed properly or something. I have no idea? =\ Maybe it could be my host as well?

But none-the-less, thank you for the help o.o

I am using a one-column WordPress template in an iframe.

    I used the theme generator:
    https://www.yvoschaap.com/wpthemegen/

My challenge is to make the column width conform to the iframe or set the width to about 500px. Can’t find the code for that.

    my work is here
    https://windymeadows.org/updates.html

I created a separate post for my question but it relate to this issue.

I found out how to limit the one column from resizing and set it to a certain size.

in the style.css find the .item section and add a line such as width:500px; or whatever size you need.

Then it will fit your iframe.

BTW the header is included in my template but it is a single word and works fine just as a title.

    hope this helps.
