    Hi,

I was wondering wether it is possible to have one name field only?
So it would be a full name field instead of first name en last name separate.
For both billing, shipping and preferably account information as well.

I found ways to hide the fields, but then I get an error message when I want to edit information as a client on the account page.

    Best regards,
    Olga

    Hi @oberning,

Depending on what method you’re using to remove the fields on the checkout page you may also need to remove those on the customer My Account section too.

This documentation below may help you understand more above editing fields in WooCommerce.

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/tutorial-customising-checkout-fields-using-actions-and-filters/

    Hi @oberning,

I understand you’d like to edit the name fields on the checkout to one field.

You can edit the checkout fields using the Checkout field editor extension. With this extension, you create a new field for both first and last name or edit one of the existing name fields for this purpose.

However, I wouldn’t recommend editing the billing address fields as it may make payment gateways unable to verify the billing information.

I’d recommend testing this on a staging site to ensure everything works as expected before pushing to your live site.

    I hope this helps.
