When creating a new page, this page somehow replaced the “Home” page where blog posts are published (as well as having it’s own page). I’ve tried to do everything I can think of to get my posts back to Home but no joy. Any tips appreciated!

  • Sounds like you set one of your pages as a static page:

go to: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php (Admin>Settings>Reading) and make sure “Your Latest Posts” is selected.

    Hi Threestyler,
Thanks for your reply, yes a few friends asked me about that but when I checked ‘latest posts’ is selected. Have you any other ideas what the problem may be? Really worried I’ve lost a years worth of posts (tho they are still on the dashboard).
    Thanks

    Hi,

A friend has resolved this for me. He asked if it started after I upgraded to WP3 and said if so, and I had the plugin ‘Redirection’ to try disabling it.

I had upgraded ages ago but tried disabling ‘redirection’ plugin anyway and it worked. ??
