One of my podcast episodes has disappeared from all platforms

    I have a weekly podcast (The Swearwolves), and I noticed yesterday that our very first episode (“All Things Friday the 13th”) seems to have disappeared from all platforms (iTunes, Podbean, Stitcher, etc) after being available since September.

    Episode 1 is still on our actual website, and plays just fine there. I also checked it on blubrry, where it still appears to be public and active. I’m not sure why it suddenly stopped feeding to other podcatchers, but any help to get it back online would be greatly appreciated.

    Episodes 2-11 seem to be working just fine, and hopefully episode 12 will post tonight without issue, but we’d like to get Episode 1 back online ASAP.

    I went into my WordPress settings, and noticed that my “feed settings” were set to display my 10 last posts. When episode 11 published, I suspect it may have pushed Episode 1 off the feed. I updated the setting to display 200 posts, but I still don’t see the missing episode anywhere. I chatted online with a WP rep, and he/she said everything looked normal on their end and that the episode should be in the feed. Maybe it takes time to refresh? Or maybe that’s not the problem. I’ll update if that winds up doing the trick, but if there are other things I should be looking at, please let me know.

    It’s back in iTunes/Apple now, so I think I’m good to go. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before it’s back up on the other sites.

    Looks like you did the correct thing to solve your problem. If you continue to have trouble with all of your episodes not syndication properly, please post back here and let us know.
