• It’s really simple, without facilities to adapt to the look-and-feel used in your site, and also it doesn’t work well. When I enter the login information and clic the login button, the plug-in show me the Ultimate Member login page. Also the documentation is very poor and unclear. Really a bad plug-in. Don’t waste your time with this plug-in.

Thanks for the feedback, I am disappointed that you chose to rate this plugin with 1 star. The plugin was built to be simple, it uses the core WordPress login form and adapts the style from your theme.

It’s useful for drawing attention to sign ups, but the original poster is correct with the functionality limitations… i.e., if you are a registered member, it doesn’t work well at all (you can’t use it to log in).

I think this is because of the wp-admin / wp-login, which is usually disabled in ultimate member, forcing the user to access site from the front end? Interestingly, when you hover the mouse over “login” you can see the link still remains wp-login which then does a loop back to the “login” page for ultimate member. I’m not even sure if this works with ultimate member re-captcha, which is a must have on the login page.

The good thing is though, you do get more sign ups when the plugin is displayed, but it doesn’t work as a “login-widget” should…
