    Hi careerpathway,

    Thanks for reporting your problem.

AdSense shows this notification in your account if one of your AdSense-registered websites has no ads.txt file. Since the ads.txt of your website is accessible (but the website is down), I assume that you have more than this website that is triggering this notification.

Advanced Ads imports all notifications from your AdSense account and shows them in your WordPress backend. To clarify this notification, I advise checking if you have other websites registered in AdSense and adding their related ads.txt files.

    Best regards,

    Joachim

    Thanks for your reply.

In this case, ignore the notification and have some patience, please. Obvioulsy, Google has not crawled your ads.txt file yet. I hope you have not made any settings to block the Google crawler from your site.

You did not create the ads.txt using the dedicated Advanced Ads feature, but this is no problem. The entry looks fine. I can also open your website now, but it still seems broken.

    Best regards,

    Joachim

    Hi,

The only thing I could imagine is that there might be a robots.txt with entries that block the Google bots. This is not a default setting, and someone would have had this done manually., so I don’t believe that this is the case. On the other hand, the issues you report from the search console also point to an access problem

Find more information about blocking Google via robots.txt here.

There is also a warning that you have multiple Publisher IDs on your website. If you use both accounts simultaneously, add the entries for the second one to your ads.txt. I am sure that this is causing your issue.

    Best regards,

    Joachim

    • Prevent robots from crawling images on a specific article, use the following meta tag: <meta name="robots" content="noimageindex">.
    • Inform us that an article should be removed from the Google index at a certain time, use the following meta tag:?<meta name="googlebot" content="unavailable_after: 25-Aug-2011 15:00:00 EST">.
    • Inmy ttheme header I have to past. About above meta tag.

    Hi @careerpathway,

This problem has nothing to do with Advanced Ads and is outside my core competence. I would make a thread for this in the general forum and ask for help. You can expect more profound answers there than from me here.

If you and no one else from the team have changed robots.txt, I don’t think you need to change anything here. I don’t know your robots.txt and therefore can’t assess whether this is the problem.

The reported error message regarding the ads.txt is not due to this, but to the fact that you are using AdSense ads from different accounts on the site, but have only entered one of these accounts in your ads.txt. Add the entry for the second account or make sure that you only use ads from the pub ID on the page whose entries are also in the ads.txt.

    Best regards,

    Joachim
