One Paid PDF

  • Hi there!

    I have created a PDF that people can buy from me and then download.

    It’s a one off payment and they won’t pay me again.

    All I want to do is set up a members only area where they can download the pdf

    I’ve got the paid memberships plugin installed but I’m not sure if this is the correct plug in for me as i just want them to buy the pdf from my website then log in to the members area, possibly with their email and a password and then download the item

    i don’t want anyone else to be able to register and download the item for free

  • This should work fine for what you need (just set up the membership level you want, and assign that level to the page where you’ve posted the PDF) – but you might also want to check out Easy Digital Downloads instead. Could be a better fit.

    Also how would i be able to verify that it’s someone who has bought the item that is registering for the members area and not just anyone?

    Is there some kind of verification structure in place?
