One particular backlink not showing up

The plugin seemed to be working fine on our site, showing the backlinks we expected and blocking others reasonably appropriately. However, one particular site is not showing up as a backlink to our site, though we know for sure that people have clicked on that link to our site. These were not logged in users, and it is not a referrer that has been banned or where any other backlinks have come from. The URL does not match anything in the “exclude” filter, and it never showed up as “pending,” as far as we can tell.
Can you please give ideas about why this might not be showing up for us? The referring link is just an image (logo), not text, but that shouldn’t make a difference. Thanks for your help.
