One popup show after another one is close

Thanks for asking.

I added css class from first popup which is .pum-close to the cookie of the second popup

That doesn’t sound right. Here’s the general idea:

Popup 1: We need to find the CSS selector for the first popup’s close button. That says, “Hey popup 2, here’s how you’ll know when someone closes me.”

Popup 2: Then, we need to add that CSS selector to the trigger settings for the second popup. That says, “Hey popup 1, when you close I’m going to open.”

Once that’s done, when anyone clicks on the first popup’s close button, the first popup will close and trigger the second popup to open.

I checked the homepage of your site, and it has only one popup initializing. Could you please send us the link where we can check the two popups?

Yes, I disabled first popup since I could not get it to work.

So if you go to home page now, you should see first popup

And 5 seconds later, the second one kicks in and should look like this:

I checked the site and found the popups:

• #1545 – pop
• #1980 – baner-reklamowy

The second popup (#1980 – baner-reklamowy) is using a Time Delay/Auto Open.

the second popup will be needing to use Trigger: Click Open

Could you please check the settings of your popups according to the article?

Yes, now they are both set up as described in the article, but still not working. Not sure if the css class is right or should be added with space in the settings box.

I checked the site, and the second popup (#1980 – baner-reklamowy) has an extra selector #popmake-1545 .pum-close.popmake-close.mojguzik.

The class name mojguzik is not present in the source code, and the click open trigger can’t identify the class name.

Could you please update the extra selector to something like this:

#popmake-1545 .pum-close.popmake-close

I have updated the css selector and there is still no effect.

That’s because you disabled the close button on your first popup (1545).

That means you’ll need to write custom JavaScript to launch your second popup (1980) when the first one closes.

Here’s an example.

jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {

    $( '#pum-1545' ).on('pumAfterClose', function () {
        PUM.open(1980);
    });
			
}); // jQuery

You’ll also need to add this custom CSS since you’re launching back-to-back popups.

.pum-overlay.pum-active,
.pum-overlay.pum-active .popmake.active {
    display: block !important;
}

Here’s the result after running the JS and CSS in the browser on your site.
