One post image removed, still cached in Lightbox

Hi, I’d love to help, but SLB does not appear to be activated at the link you provided.

Please provide a link to a page that exhibits the issue you are experiencing and I would be glad to take a closer look.

Apologies, I have re-enabled the simple lightbox plugin on the page/site listed above. I had activated a diff lightbox yesterday trying to investigate and forgot to switch it back.

An update: I found that the images were still attached to the post in the media library even though they were removed when viewing the post, so I downloaded a plugin to detach them (without deleting the image).

The images no longer show the attachment to the post in the media library.

I am still seeing 4 images in the lightbox popup slideshow when there are only 2 on the post.

Hi, it appears that when you deleted the images from the post, you did not remove the links they were wrapped in. You may need to use the text editor to remove the orphaned links manually from the HTML when editing the post.

SLB activates all valid links in the post, whether they are visible or not. Once you remove the orphaned links to the images, the images will no longer be displayed in the lightbox.
