Just noticed using another plugin to search for a product that it found two of them, although I only have one of them.

Why is this? And how do I remove one?

  • Hi there, could you provide some more specifics on what exactly you found here?

If you go to *WooCommerce > Products > All Products* are you able to locate that same product twice? If so, you could manually delete it from the admin area there.

If you are having trouble locating it from the all products list, do you know the IDs of the duplicate products? If so, you can navigate directly to those products by changing the ID in the URL, as seen here: https://d.pr/i/fTB7Nx

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for the reply. The product is not there if I look in >All Products.

If I change the ID in an URL i get a WordPress error “Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.”

Could you take a screenshot of where you are seeing two of the same product? Which plugin are you using to search which shows this?

Hi Nick, thanks for your help with this. I was seeing it in the Woo Cart Notices plugin by Sky Verge, have spoken to their support who are always quick, and they have told me that it creates multiple id’s on variable products.

OK, great, sounds like this is normal to see this for the Woo Cart Notices plugin. I’ll close this out, glad you were able to resolve with SkyVerge.
