• Good day!

I am building a website for a multi-location church and our goal is to have one site with a location selector that can show them only content based on their selection. AKA, they select Dallas, TX and only get content meant for Dallas.

Are there any plugins out there that do this? I have found paid Geo-Targeting solutions that can dish up content based on their IP location, but I am wondering if there is a user-selection version of this somewhere out there?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated to point me in the right direction.

  • Sub-domains will be your friend here. You can have the user select their location and then have the appropriate site load. Essentially you would be creating a separate site for each location such as “dallas.yourdomain dot com”, etc. You could use the main domain “yourdomain dot com” as a location selector and for content that is relevant to all locations. Most web hosts allow you to add sub domains at little to no extra cost.
