One specific page is not showing Whatsapp preview image….

  • Hi guys, the website that I’m working on shows preview images when sharing in Whatsapp just fine, except for one page. I can’t seem to figure out why this specific page doesn’t show the featured image… Have already uploaded the same image in the Yoast-plugin on the page underneath ‘social’->’Facebook’. Can anyone help? Would be lovely, thanks so much in advance!

  • I’ve checked OG data.
    It seems everything okay to me, and the featured image preview is also there.
    Please check again. ??

    Thanks for the quick reply! I know, it’s weird, right? I had checked OG data as well, couldnt’ find anything. Yet it’s still not working. I would share a screenshot of my Whatsapp results here but don’t think I can add an image on this forum…. Facebook is working just fine as well, but not Whatsapp.

    By the way, I’ve found out that a few more pages have this issue, though most of them are fine.

    Here is the quick trick to check the featured image.
    1) Paste URL in WhatsApp chat.
    2) Delete the last letter/number from the URL and type it again.
    You’ll see that the featured image is now fetched for the post. ??
