[ngg_images gallery_ids=1 display_type=photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails disable_pagination=1 images_per_page=1]

See if that does what you are looking for.

sorry, it displays 1 thumbnail, when clicking it enlarges one image. no arrows to browse for other images.

i played with settings earlier, maybe i clicked something i shouldn’t have?

by the way, in the second row i added “show_slideshow_link=”0″” and yet it shows the link.

the code for the second row is:

ngg_images gallery_ids=”2″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails” show_slideshow_link=”0″

@kapara – Try a different Lightbox Effect … and remove the quotation marks from around the zero (0) as they look like “smart” quotes which may not be parsing correctly.

See if those changes help.

no method works.

there are 2 images in the gallery.
the page shows 1 thumbnail, but clicking on it shows only one big images, no arrows to see other images.
it says: “Image 1 of 1” (though there are more than 1).

@kapara – There appear to be a couple of JavaScript errors (as seen in my browser’s console) that might be interfering with things … have you tried temporarily switching to a default WordPress Twenty series theme as the errors seem to be stemming from your current theme.

@kapara – Yes, the JavaScript errors are no longer there with Twenty Fourteen … have you checked if this is a conflict with another active plugin?

the site is utf-8, it supports almost every language.

Hi photocrati,

I’ve just installed your plugin and I’m having the same issue as kapara.

My gallery has 5 images, using the shortcode you’ve provided, I’ve managed to display just 1 thumbnail. But when I click on the thumbnail, I’m brought to (I assume) the image attachment page instead of a lightbox view with next and previous arrows. I have this line of code <?php wp_redirect(get_permalink($post->post_parent)); ?> at the start of my Image Attachment Page (image.php) to prevent redirecting to image attachment page though (not sure if it’s relevant).

Also, I’m unable to change to any Lightbox Effects. I’ve deactivated all plugins too.

I’m using Twenty Eleven and below is the link to my site with the gallery I’ve created using NextGEN Gallery:
