One URL shows two versions of calendar with WPML?

    Hello, there

    We encountered an odd issue, we are using Event calendar and WPML to build English(Default) and French calendar.

    I followed the instruction and built one event on French, the French URL is domain.com/fr/events; English one is domain.com/events;

    Sometimes when I go to French, the French version calendar works properly, with the calendar text and content fully translated, but sometimes when I click the French switcher, the URL is still the domain.com/fr/events/, but the calendar is the Egnlish one.

    And it gets weirder, sometimes the English URL domain.com/events shows the French calendar, and it was working properly 1 minute ago.

    Any idea why is that? I searched so many topics but didn`t see a similar one.
    I really need help urgently now!!!

    I just updated the event calendar and the WPML CMS is the latest version too

    So this is a documented bug with WPML and our plugin. I will associate your thread with the bug ticket so that you can be updated when we make progress on this bug, and we can ask you any questions we have along the way.

    It’s possible that your other plugins or themes may be causing more of a conflict here.

    Can you please test for conflicts using our documentation here and let me know if that resolves any parts of what you’re experiencing?

    I already solved the problem with the help of WPML. it turned out to be the calendar caching issue. I enabled the monthly view caching to make the calendar work faster, that leads to the random calendar display.

    Here is how to disable the cache
    Events -> Settings -> Display (tab) there is an option ‘Enable the Month View Cache’.

    One click and problem go!

    you can try to switch from English to French, backwards, forwards, it won`t be naughty again!
