    Hello,

    Every time I publish new post with “Send notification on post publish” option turned on, my site goes down as soon as post is published.

    When Onesignal is turned off, it works fine.

    I have the same issue since a month or so, even with version 1.17.9.

    If you are not hosting your own images but continue to see significant slow-downs when notifications are sent, chances are the problem is that browsers are fetching two specific files from your server:

    OneSignalSDKUpdaterWorker.js.php
    OneSignalSDKWorker.js.php

    Server is not slowed down. It BREAKS down. Doesnt work. People click on notification and get nothing.

    Images are hosted on the site.

    Do you have any solution to this or it is time to search for replacement?

    In the onesignal plugin options, try deactivating “use featured image as notification icon”. This worked for me.
