  • Hello, I currently don’t see OneSignal on your site: https://technicaljayendra.com/brave-browser-vs-microsoft-edge/

I believe our SDK works on Brave browser if it supports push, but will check deeper.

Can you open a support ticket with [email protected] and add our code or plugin back to the site so we can try taking a deeper look at your implementation?

    Thanks

Actually what I mean icon shows on normal condition when brave shield is turned off but when someone on it it will remove ads and trackers from side and including oneSignal bell icon because it’s loading from external source so please provide option to make it available on website hosting within your plugin.

Also want to let you know that oneSignal bell still shows after user subscribed even I select don’t show icon after user subscribed

I too have the same issue with Brave and OneSignal, with the following error reported in the console (when Web Shields are active):

DOMException: Failed to update a ServiceWorker for scope - The script has an unsupported MIME type ('text/html').

Same issue as described here and here.

    Hi there,

Please contact [email protected] for further assistance, please include the site url as well.

Unfortunately you have an error where 2 files that are required for push notifications are being served as something other than Content-Type: application/javascript

    yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/sdk_files/OneSignalSDKWorker.js.php
    yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/sdk_files/OneSignalSDKUpdaterWorker.js.php
You may need to contact your hosting provider and tell them this:

    Hi!
    ?
My site runs the OneSignal web push notifications plugin and we are having some issues with the service worker files not being served as “Content-Type: application/javascript”.
    ?
The OneSignal plugin team would like to request the following URLs to be served as with this content-type:
    ?
    yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/sdk_files/OneSignalSDKWorker.js.php
    ?
    yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/sdk_files/OneSignalSDKUpdaterWorker.js.php
    ?
Could you please help me do this?
    ?
    Thanks!
Just replace “yoursite.com” with your actual site URL.

Let me know how they respond!

If you don’t want to contact your hosting provider or can’t for some reason, you can login to onesignal.com and select “My Site Is Not Fully HTTPS” and add a Label.

Then in your wordpress plugin, de-select “My site uses an HTTPS connection (SSL)” and add the label into the “OneSignal Label” field.

Don’t forget to press save on each screen after the changes.

Thanks and let me know how it goes!

Yes, please reach out to [email protected] for the fastest support.
