theme does not scroll down

  • Hi everyone,

    Two days ago I had an update for the onetone theme. Everything seemed to work right before the update, however, since the update was installed the links do not scroll down automatically anymore. Is there a way to fix it? The previous version worked fine in many browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome). Now it doesn’t work using any of these browsers. Scrolling down manually works fine however. Thanks for your replies.

    Hi JAL,
    I am having the some issue none of the menu links scroll down anymore. Did you find a solution?

    The problem is fixed, 2 days after my post by completely re-installing WordPress. As it is working now, I do not update anything (never change a winning team they say). Only deleting the theme and re-installing it didn’t work so a brand new start from scratch was necessary.

    In any case: Make sure you have a backup of ALL the page content. Best way to make a backup is to copy-paste all code into a notepad-file. When updating the theme, simply copy paste your code back into the theme and you’re site is up and running after an update within minutes!

    Just tried to update my website, as it seemed necessary after NOT working AGAIN. And yes: it doesn’t scroll down no more… Here we go again. Which literally means I have to reinstall EVERYTHING again. The update does copy your text and background though all images you put on your website are gone. Who knows where they may be… Updating this theme is really horror… Takes ages and too much effort for fixing all little things every time. Has nothing to do with a good user experience. So whoever made this theme: take this advice and use it for further development.

    Already had the same issue 3-4 weeks ago, with contact form not working aswell. Had to completly remove and reinstall to solve …

    However, I didn’t get any trouble with last update so I’m not sure it’s totally related with the theme update

    Same here, there is no SCROLL effect when clicking the menu links.
    It just JUMPS to the section as if its loading a whole new page.
    Any help anyone?

    Hello, I would like to join the conversation regarding a glitch with Onetone. I love the layout of this theme, but after I made an update earlier in the month I noticed a glitch. I can scroll all the way down my site perfectly, but when I start to scroll down the page catches and it looks weird. you can see the problem at: troglodyte.us. I am wondering who I can talk with about fixing this glitch so the scroll down is smooth from the top of the page to the bottom. Anybody know who I would need to contact – Thank you.

    This thread isnt for this issue. This thread is for when you click the links at the top the page doesnt scroll down to that section, it just jumps/reloads that part of the page.
