    Hello 12ML,

    Appreciate your work greatly. District 23 of KS uses your plugin both for use with the mobile app, and also as a meeting guide for our website.

    Our District now hosts an accessibilities online meeting. It is my understanding that “Online” is not a type/category of meeting for your app. This would be a good addition as more and more online meetings are happening.

    Another great feature of this plugin would be an entirely separate directory for online meetings. The URL/website that I shared in the subject line is supposedly an AA-approved listing. How cool would it be to have all of these, and even more online meetings listed within the Meeting Guide app?

    I realize this would be no small undertaking, but it is something that would be greatly valued, in my opinion.

  • Hey Ron, good to hear from you. I think we corresponded about this back in December.

    The plugin and the app are separate entities. The plugin won’t be supporting online meetings, but the app hopefully will.

    It’s not as simple as adding a meeting type to the plugin; it doesn’t support listing any meetings that don’t have a geographic location. (Which I think is why you’re suggesting an entirely new directory.) This is because of the map view, and the proximity search, and the regions taxonomy, and the fact that this plugin is a service to regional organizations.

    It seems that online meetings are best centralized on an international website, rather than on regional websites. In AA, that website is the one you linked to. The Meeting Guide app would like to connect with them, but they are not currently using a website database.
