I have Media Library Organizer running with Salient Themes. Whenever i try to add an image to a media post in WordPress it allows me to select my images in the media library organizer without issue.

However when i try to add a featured image to a blog post the Media Library Organizer only shows 1 image per category – very frustrating.

As a result I’m having to turn the media library off in order to implement featured images, which kind of negates the point of using your tool.

I have disabled all but the priority plug in’s to no avail. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Emma

  • I’m not the plugin developer and I don’t have a solution for you, but we had a user experiencing this same problem. She’d have this problem on any site using Media Library Organizer.

Despite all my efforts, I could never replicate the problem for myself, even when accessing the same sites in the same roles. There were no JavaScript errors showing up in the console, and I never figured out the problem. We only “resolved” it in the sense that she retired. ??

Have you tried disabling all your browser extensions and trying other browsers and seeing if the problem persists? Good luck! Please report back if you ever find a solution!

No suggestions, noting the below screenshots in the following environment:
    – WordPress 5.9
    – Media Library Organizer 1.3.9
    – Salient Theme 11.0.4
    – Salient Core 1.8.2
    – Salient WPBakery Page Builder 6.6.0

Featured Image selection on a Post correctly shows 3 images when a Category with 3 images is chosen:

You’re welcome to carefully debug your environment, in particular:
    – Enabling debug.log, noting errors: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
    – Deactivation of all third party Plugins to produce a minimal environment where the issue is either reproducible or resolved (not just “priority plugins”, whatever they are).

    See https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/media-library-shows-almost-empty/, noting:

Finally I found that by modifiyng some settings I made it works well for all admin users.

    Media Library Organizer > Settings
Then User Options and select “Don’t Remember” for Sorting and Sort Order.

    @wpmedialibrary Thanks a lot
    That’s ok
