  • Hello!

Did you manage to solve this problem?

I am having the same problem :(!

Deactivating my plugins won’t help and removing my page builder did not help either.

Nope, unfortunately not. I submitted something to the Github page but nothing yet!

I am having the same problem. The plugins states the photo’s alt text doesn’t match the focus keyword when in fact they are the exact same thing. Also, it indicates our post has 0 or 1 word, when it has many more than that.

    Helloo!

I am still trying to solve this problem..

If I change my text editor to the visual tab and save the post then it shows the right word count. But if I go to editor again it just shows 0 or 1 word.

So for now a little solution but it is not perfect.

Hope this bug get fixed soon!

    Same issue…

I have the same issue – it says the keyword density is 0% yet the keyword is in there quite a few times. Not seeing the keyword in the h2 tagged text, alt tags, nor in the first paragraph. It is picking up some things, like outbound links.

Tried your workaround Anna, but that’s making no difference for me.

    Hi,
same problem, it does not detect my keyword in the tag h2, for him, the keyword is at 0%, it does not find the images, the keyword in Alt, while everything is good, I have used, I thought that the problem was my X-Files keyword, but reading your comments, not this is the plugin.

I had the same problem with 10 websites.
Every page and post was from good to ok or bad.
I tried in a test environment the beta version 3.1-RC3of Yoast. The same problems.

But i found out that removing <div> at the start of the page. </div> or Changed text from center to left fixed also the problem.
That solved my problems also in live version of my websites.

In my case i only had to change one page or post with this problem and then the whole website was recalculating by yoast and my problem was fixed.

Maybe yoast has a problem reading the text when it start with some text formatting.

Maybe it helps for you too?

Hey, could you try Yoast SEO 3.1 (released today) and see if that improves things?

Same as initial problem .Since updating it detects 10 words in text, there are over 350. Can no longer set meta description. What’s going on? Why don’t they respond?
