Yes I managed to activate my child theme! Thanks!
The only strange thing now is that there is a big gap between my Logo/websitetitle and my blog posts….this gap is not there in the original theme…
Maybe you can help?

That looks like the home page is not set up correctly – did you redo it in the child theme? Also, the style.css file in a child theme should not be a copy of the parent theme file – it should only contain changes to the CSS.

Mmmm….that must be the problem! I was thinking it should be in the homepage set up….
I will take a look at both files (page-home.php and style.css) and only add the changes!

I’m trying ??
I copied the entire code and adapted it to my child theme.
I’ve copied the complete stylesheet from my main theme, but when I delete it and replace it for this text only, it doesn’t work…
I think I have to learn more about how to make this child-theme, before using it!

Now I’ve only inserted the mentioned lines in the style.css and added no other lines/files….and still it shows a huge gap between the logo and the blog on the home page….
I wil take a look at my customize area, if there is something wrong…..

Found it! It has to do with the ‘hide-widget’ setting at the Home-page customize area…
I knew it had to be something like that ??
