    G’day SquareOfOne,

    That settings screen is only for enabling an extra button allowing visitors to download all images at once, even across multi-page galleries. (I should better explain that in the settings screen, I guess…)

    To enable the Download gallery, you need to specify it as the template used. If you’re using NGG 1.9.13, just add template="download" to the shortcode on your page.

    BTW, I recommend you switch to NextCellent Gallery, as it has been receiving upgrades to keep it compatible with current versions of WordPress.

    Thought I had tried that. Just realized that I needed the album shortcode. Sorry to waste your time.
    Anyway, I think I will take your advice and chance to cellent gallery. Thank you very much for your help ??
