    Hi.

For some reason the search is not working for me. No results come up at all even though the default search works fine. Anyway, my only real reason for trying this plugin out was to add the search bar to my navigation menu. That function works, but the search itself does not, so is there any way to just put the search bar in the menu and have it use the default WordPress search?

    Thanks.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

is there any way to just put the search bar in the menu and have it use the default WordPress search?

This is the default functionality of the plugin.

You might have changed the plugin settings causing to narrow search.

Could you please share me the screenshots of plugin settings and Default search form so that I can troubleshoot it?

For screenshots, you can simply provide a link to an image through Google Drive, Dropbox, screencast.com, https://imgur.com/ or other image service. ??

    Hi.

I actually found a way to add a search bar in the menu by adding some code into functions.php so I think I’m good now. Thank you!

Btw the only change I made was to exclude the “news” category from results.
