Only allow question poster to set answers

The plugin looks very well constructed, but I have a special case with regard the permissions of who can post answers to questions. My use case is not covered by your use of access control roles. There needs to be an “question author” pseudo-role included.

I need to be able to restrict the *question poster only* to be able to set answers. This is unrelated to comments or voting. I can rephrase this to “not permit anyone to post an answer to any question unless they are the question setter”. Is this easy/possible?
