• Resolved boldscripts

When a user clicks on the link to read more in the post (the content after I use a split tag), I don’t want to display the content that is on the index page on the actual post page (right now it repeats everything in the post, including the content before I use the split tag). I only want it to display the information after I use the split post tag on the actual post page.

I’ve searched the template files and can’t find where it is calling the content (which template file to edit for starters) or even what I should be looking for.

I found a solution that works, just not quite the way I’d like ??

In the index.php file of my template I replaced the ‘the_content’ tag with ‘the_excerpt’ tag, and started using excerpts. The only thing is, in my WP admin, the excerpt section is WYSIWYG, and all of the articles to appear on the index have images in them. I can still use HTML of course, but..

Why not try an image manager?

    Works with either editor.

An excellent suggestion, and that would do exactly what I was looking for..

I installed it, and after watching the flash demo I am looking for the button to manage the images, which did not appear next the the ‘?’ in my ‘write’ page.
I am using the default editor for wordpress, so I’m not sure what’s wrong =(

In the set up options, scroll down – there is a place where you click to install the buttons for each editor.

ok, got that, and it appears in my WP editor now.

Now I can browse the images in the default WP directory, but the ‘OK’ button in the box doesn’t work (does nothing) so it won’t insert images.

This plugin looks amazing btw, thanks for sharing it. Hope I can get it working ??

since I enjoy answering the questions I ask =)

After searching the support forum over there, I found the problem:

Disabling the ‘validate images’ option corrected my not being able to click the ok button, seems all is working now.

    Thanks again for your help!
