Only events today in the Mainloop

    I use the Events in the Mainloop extension.

    Is it possible to show only events in the main loop that are taking place on the current day?

    As it is now, all existing events are displayed, and that’s a bit too many

    Hi @marcuss, thanks for reaching out to us. Out of the box, this is not possible where we could filter it and show events in the main loop. However, this should be possible via shortcode which is only available with the Pro version.

    Hi @marcuss, thanks for confirming. I can confirm that this is a known issue with the Main Blog Loop not working. We already created an internal bug ticket for this, and I have added your case to it. Thanks for all the details, I will definitely pass it along to our devs.

    I am unable to provide an exact date or time estimate for when this bug will be fixed, but you’ll be notified when there are any updates.

    Which Shortcode must i use?

    For now, you could use this shortcode where you could update the date attribute. [tribe_events view="month" date="2016-08"]

    The bug breaking the “Include events in main blog loop” feature in the wp-admin > Events > Settings > General section was finally fixed!

    Please update the free Events Calendar plugin to version 6.0.6 to apply that fix to your site.
