• In the admin ‘page section’ i have 60 pages groeped into listings of 20 pages per tab. My problem is i can only view the first 20 pages. If i click on the tab listing for 2 or 3 i get the following error ‘Invalid post type’ anyone know how to solve this problem?
However if i search for a page it can be found en edited.

I had recently problems with the Plugins and Themes not showing up in the admin.
I resolved this problem by renaming the Themes and Plugin folders. Then making new folders for the Themes and Plugins and copying everything into these folders.
Is it then possible that the pages are also stored in a folder? I thought they were stored in the database.

    I’m using version WP 3.0.4

  • Hi Ferida,

Have you tried disabling your plugins to see if one of these is causing the error?

The theme/plugin error you mention kind of sounds like a permissions error – https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_File_Permissions

You’re right – the actual page data is stored in the database, not folders.

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

@keesiemeijer – good idea, switching to the default theme too ??

    Hello Guy,
First of all thanks for the ideas. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins and using default theme but the problem still prevails.
I think that it might be a sort of folder permission problem, but which folder could it be?
