only first rich text box works

  • Hi,
    I am using PD with the multi-tab add-on. On the “Add Participant” page only the first rich text box functions. All others in each tab are not working. Currently any text entered into them is white against a white background. Also the cursor line is not visible when i press on those rich text boxes (it’s probably also white).

    The page is password protected so you cannot see it via a link and i am not able to submit a screen grab with this.

    This is in the admin section, right? This sounds like an issue with another plugin. If you are running any plugins that change things in the admin section, try it with that plugin deactivated.

    This is working normally in my tests.

    Hi, The add-on/plug-in i am using is your own “Field Group Tabs”: https://xnau.com/product/field-group-tabs/

    If you use this plug-in in conjunction with PD I imagine you will find the same problem with the rich text boxes. It would be great to have a fix for this glitch.

    I just tried that, and it’s working as expected.

    If you open your browser developer tools and take a look at the console when you open the page, you’ll probably see a javascript error of some kind. That can provide a clue to what is interfering with the editor getting set up on that second field.

    Hi,
    Thanks for getting back to me. Okay – so i’m getting this error code:
    Source map error: request failed with status 404
    Resource URL: https://www.snodger.com.au/wp-includes/js/tinymce/skins/lightgray/skin.min.css?wp-mce-4800-20180716
    Source Map URL: skin.min.css.map[Learn More]

    Does that mean it’s a problem at my end that the server needs to fix?

    If that is all you see in the console, it doesn’t really explain the problem. Are you using a plugin the styles the editor or changes the appearance of the admin section?
