  • Hi, I can’t really help you but I do like your site concept!

This is what my index.php looks like. I’ve added the target code where I thought it should go, but still I get blog ads on the main page.

[moderated – don’t post long code here.
    use something like https://wordpress.pastebin.ca]

The ads I see aren’t for blogs. They’re for shipping, printers, and bras.

But really, it might make more sense to ask the google folks about this. As I recall there’s even a google forum for discussing adsense.

My hunch is you get ads that target what you write about. So write about stuff other than blogs and maybe you’ll get different ads.

Thanks for the replies. Here’s what I’ve discovered. With the https://www.holidayforeveryday.com I get the right ads, with holidayforeveryday.com (no www) i get blog ads.

Check carefully that you don’t have any nested or unopened/unclosed/orphaned section targeting comments which can really confuse the Adsense bot.

Use .htaccess to choose the www or non-www version of your website (important so that you don’t get duplicate content problems with Google search results).
