• Resolved bencharity

Ok, I’ve been working with wordpress for quite a while now, even getting into much tweaking. However something just happened that I can’t even figure out how.

I was working on a page and suddenly, my entire wordpress site was unaccessible (front and back ends). I emailed my host thinking it was their issue, and they quickly responded saying that the issue had been resolved and it was functioning fine on their end. So I checked and was able to see my home page and the back-end, but I get a NOT FOUND 404 error when I try to go to any other page of my site by link or typing the url.

The links are correct and it has to be something more because I am getting the basic 404 page even though I have a 404.php page.

So I am just at a loss here. Any help would be amazing, I’m on some time restraints here.

    The site is here: https://www.townofranger.com/
See a bad page by clicking any nav link or going here: https://www.townofranger.com/contact

    Thanks in advance,
    Ben

  • Hi,

Disable all plugins…check permalinks settings and check pages from wordpress admin area if they are not there then restore the backup of your blog or you can ask your hosting service provider to do restoration from their end bakup..

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

It seems to be working fine now.

Yeah I disabled everything, then activated it all again. So not sure what happened. Have never seen that happen. So no real solution.

    But thanks!
    Ben
