Only index working after host switch…

  • I recently moved a site from one host to another.

    Everything went swimmingly or so I thought…

    the index.php shows with no problems
    however none of the other internally linked pages do…

    I can login to the admin side and all of the pages are stored, but when clicking on the View link from admin I get a “The page cannot be found” error.

    I tried creating a test page, but had the same results…

    I’m at a loss… any help would be greatly appreciated.

    (running 1.5.1.3)

  • Did you Update your permalink structure?

    Administration > Options > Permalinks

    never mind…

    I didn’t copy over the .htaccess file when I moved the public_html folder over…

    problem solved…

    For those interested… it’s a worth while cause…
