Only insert media buttons shows up

    Please ensure that:
    1. Widgets accessibility mode is disabled (from the Screen options at the top right corner in the Widgets management screen)
    2. The advanced editor is not disabled in your user profile options

    @marco – The problem still persists for me.

    The advanced editor is not disabled for my profile
    Reverted to Twenty Twelve theme
    all mu-plugins are deactivated
    all network-wide plugins are deactivated
    all sub-site plugins, except Black Studio Tiny MCE are disabled

    Here is the error from the console:

    Uncaught ReferenceError: tinyMCE is not defined

    Out of curiosity, have you tried implementing the widget with the wp_editor() function? If that worked, that might make things a lot simpler.
