Only one Adsense account allowed per user

    I created a new Google account for a new site that I have and that is in a completely separate niche from the rest of my web properties. I setup an analytics account and connected it to Site Kit. I then connected Site Kit to an Adsense account under the new email address.

    Today, I checked to see if Adsense had made any progress on approving my site, only to discover this message:

    “We see that you also have another AdSense account. We only allow one account per person. To use this account, please close the other one.”

    Yikes!

    So what can I do? The whole reason I installed Site Kit was to make integration of Google Analytics and Adsense easy. But Site Kit doesn’t appear to let me connect to my other Adsense account and Adsense won’t let me setup a new account unless I close the other one. (That’s not an option.)

    I searched this forum, but did not see this exact problem.

    Suggestions?

    @techgeekministries Unfortunately we can’t assist in the area of AdSense policy, but you can setup Site Kit using that existing AdSense associated Google account. If you’ve already setup that property in Analytics and Search Console using your new Google account you can grant access to that existing Google account (associated with AdSense).

    The product experts and community should should be able to advise you on any AdSense policy at the AdSense Help Center, sorry we can’t be of more help.

    I tried setting up Site Kit to use my old Adsense account, but it still seems connected to the new one that I can’t use. Can I disconnect just the Adsense section and connect it to the old account?

    @techgeekministries No problem, from within Search Console and Analytics there are options to grant other users access.

    That should allow you to setup Site Kit with your existing AdSense account after you have granted that account access to the property in Search Console and Analytics. You will need to reset Site Kit first to set up with your existing AdSense account (Site Kit > Settings > Admin Settings > Reset Site Kit).
